In the tire manufacturing process,the steel wire has a high initial modulus,excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability,fatigue resistance,impact resistance,and good adhesion to rubber,so steel wires are widely used in automobile tire frame materials such as bead wire or belts.However,with the concept of lightweight car,the weight loss of automotive materials,especially the unsprung mass,is the development trend of the current automobile industry,and it is also the most direct and effective measure to respond to energy conservation and emission reduction.Therefore,using lightweight and high-strength carbon fiber instead of steel wire is a way to achieve a reduction in the unsprung mass of an automobile.In this project,carbon fiber ropes are applied to tire rubbers bonded with tire bead rings and belt layers,respectively,and compared with the rubber bond strengths of conventional tire bead rings and steel belt layers.An RFL system was used on the carbon fiber surface to enhance the adhesion between the carbon fiber and the rubber.Based on this,several modifications of the RFL system were proposed,and the system was optimized for the adhesion of the carbon fiber rope to the rubber.The final result is that carbon fiber ropes have higher adhesive properties than carbon fiber bundles.After the RFL impregnated the carbon fiber ropes,the surface roughness of the carbon fiber filaments was increased,the bonding strength of the carbon fiber ropes after impregnation with the RFL was increased by 330%compared with that of the unimpregnated carbon fiber ropes,and the adhesion rate of the surface of the carbon fiber ropes was improved from zero to 90%.When RFL's n(R)/n(F)is 1/1.8 and m(RF)/m(L)is 0.12,the latex in RFL is VPL,and the pyridine content of VPL is 15%,RFL When the impregnating solution pH is 9.6,the RFL-impregnated carbon fiber rope has the highest adhesion performance.The RFL is to be cured at a constant temperature of 25?,and the RFL adhesion rate of the carbon fiber rope is 25%-35%,the RFL adhesion rate of the carbon fiber bundle is 35%-40%,and the adhesive performance is best when the rubber storage time is short.In addition,the subject also studied the rubber system suitable for carbon fiber bonding.The results show that the HRH system has a promoting effect on the carbon fiber rubber bonding system.
