Shandong hualu-hengsheng Chemical Co Ltd has become a multi joint production series adjustment by process optimization, adjustment and technology development more than 10 years, since the first set of domestic large scale chemical fertilizer plant operation in 2004.Among them, the four sets of low temperature methanol washing device is operated in present, which the two sets designed for Beijing International Design Institute and Dalian University of Technology and the other two sets of Xi'an Hualu Design Institute for providing package. The four sets of methanol washing device can control exceed standard caused by the CO2 desorption in stable running.1)The exceed standard content of H2S in outlet gas is easy to cause the exceed standard in the product gas, when the CO2 product gas desorption tower is in low load.2)The improper operation of the CO2 content in H2S desorption and concentration tower and N2 flows can cause the exceed standard emissions.3)The H2S content in the sulfur recovery process is easy to cause the exceed standard by the controlling of the H2S content in acid gas of the methanol regeneration tower. The paper is discussed on the basis of the above three practical encountered problems. The current running process parameters of low temperature methanol washing device is simulated by the accurate Aspen Plus chemical process simulation. The advantages and disadvantages of the operation are discussed on the analysis of the simulation results and the actual operation parameters, and then put forward the feasibility improvement measures and guiding scheme in order to improve the operating efficiency of the low temperature methanol washing device.
