Graphene is a two-dimensional nano-sheet material with atomic-level thickness.Graphene has high specific surface area,excellent mechanical properties and thermal conductivity,so it exhibits a potential application in the field of rubber.Due to the large specific surface area of graphene,and the strong van der Waals forces between the sheets,graphene tends to agglomerate in the rubber matrix and cannot exhibit excellent performance.In the latest research progress,in order to obtain a uniform dispersion of graphene/rubber composites,the most commonly used preparation methods are emulsion compounding and solution compounding,but these two methods are not the methods commonly used in the rubber industry.In the current rubber industry,tire production is still dominated by traditional mechanical compounding methods.Therefore,how to add graphene as a solid powder directly into rubber and make the graphene get a uniform dispersion are one of the key technologies for the application of graphene in the field of rubber.In this thesis,three kinds of graphene/silica hybrid fillers were prepared by different methods,and the hybrid fillers were characterized.The graphene/silica hybrid fillers were added into the SBR matrix by mechanical compounding method.The mechanical properties,wear resistance,rolling resistance,wet skid resistance of the graphene/silica/SBR composites were studied.The main research content includes the following three parts:(1)Graphene aerogel/silica hybrid fillers were prepared by redox self-assembly method.The influence of the reaction concentration of graphene oxide on the structure and properties of graphene aerogels was investigated.The SEM,FTIR,XRD and other characterizations showed that the reaction concentration of graphene oxide was 8 mg/ml,the reaction temperature was 60?,and the reaction time was 5 h.The graphene aerogels had the best structure.Then the graphene aerogel/silica hybrid filler was prepared using this condition.SEM observations showed,the silica was uniformly adsorbed on the inner pore surface of the graphene aerogel.(2)The silane coupling agents KH550 and Si69 were used to modify graphene and silica to obtain a hybrid filler,separately.It was observed by SEM that silica was dispersed on the surface of graphene.The FT-IR showed that the coupling agent played a "bridge" during the modification process.Silica was chemically bonded to the surface of graphene.(3)Graphene aerogel/silica and KH550,Si69 modified graphene/silica hybrid fillers were compounded into SBR by mechanical method.It was found that the three hybrid fillers were uniformly dispersed in the rubber matrix,and the abrasion resistance of the rubber was greatly improved.The interfacial interaction between the graphene aerogel/silica hybrid filler and the rubber was relatively weak.The effect on the mechanical properties the rolling resistance was not significantly improved.There was a strong interface between KH550 and Si69 modified graphene/silica hybrid fillers and rubber molecular chains.The addition of hybrid fillers was beneficial to the reduction of rolling resistance.The interface between Si69 modified graphene/silica hybrid filler and the rubber molecular chain was more strong,the effect of which on reducing the rolling resistance was more obvious.
