Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride(CPVC)resin is an important modification of polyvinyl chloride(PVC)resin,the introduction of a.large amount of chlorine,a polar element,makes the mechanical properties,heat resistance and flame retardant properties of CPVC products increasing significantly.However,the rate of decomposition of hydrogen chloride(HCl)gas is accelerated,the processability and impact performance deteriorate seriously.In order to solve the performance defects of CPVC resin,this topic researches on the influence of different modified formulations on the properties of final products from four aspects of stabilizing,flowing,toughening and enhancing respectively.The first part of this experiment analyzed the structure of different CPVC resin,linked the relationship between the structure and properties of the materials to filter out the materials with better overall performance and processing conditions;Based on this,the second part compared the effect of three kinds of organic tin thermal stabilizers on the stability of the material,solved the problem of poor thermal stability of CPVC resin by increasing the main stabilizer content or adding a small amount of auxiliary stabilizer.The results show that the solid organic tin has better stabilizing effect than the liquid organic tin,but the mechanical properties and heat resistance of the sample prepared with the liquid organic tin is better,a small amount of hydrotalcite is compounded with best stabilizing effect,the main and auxiliary stabilizer have a good synergistic effect;The third part,different types of internal and external lubricants are compounded to reduce the processing energy consumption,improve the heat stability time,filter out the lubricant system with better performance,determine the content of internal and external lubricants through the plasticizing time and the results of other performance tests;In the fourth part,the effects of MBS,ABS,NBR and EBA tougheners on material mechanical,heat resistance properties were compared and studied.The results show that the impact modification effect of MBS materials is best,and the impact on the other properties of the materials is small,adding 20phr MBS tougheners with notched impact strength of 46.38kJ/m2,14-time increase compared to 3.2kJ/m2 without the addition of toughener,the purpose of synergistic toughening and strengthening be achieved by reducing the amount of MBS and adding a certain amount of CPE and CaCO3,4phr CaCO3 are added,the tensile strength and impact strength reach 49.59MPa and 47.03kJ/m2 respectively.
