N,N-acetals is an important organic intermediates with multiple reaction sites.It can be used to synthesize various nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds.In recent decades,N,N-acetals have been used in organic synthesis and the application has been rapidly developed.N,N-acetals can be prepared from S,S-acetals by a simple,high-efficiency,and green synthetic method.Our research group has long been engaged in the research of S,S-acetals chemistry.We can learn from the wealth of S,S-acetals chemistry and apply N,N-acetals chemistry to novel and practical organic synthetic strategies.Developing a green organic synthetic strategy is one of the important tasks of modern organic chemistry.Recently,Eric V.Anslyn's group reported the click-and de-click reaction with S,S-acetals as a carrier,enabling the novel synthesis of several proteins and oligomers.Inspired by this,this article starts from the synthetic design,using S,S-acetals as raw material,using an easily synthesized N,N-acetals as a carrier,and acylating anilines with oxalyl chloride.The pyrrolone derivatives and eosin involved in the reaction design are all important organic compounds.For example,pyrrolone derivatives have high biological activity and are widely used in the fields of biology,pharmacology and natural product chemistry.However,the synthesis of these compounds generally requires specific reaction raw materials,expensive catalysts,hard reaction conditions,and so on.The synthetic route developed in this paper highlights the synthesis of important organic compounds from the easy-to-get raw materials and the carrier cycle.In this continuous attempt on the above-mentioned carrier cycle strategy,a series of pyrrolone derivatives were prepared by the cyclization reaction of N,N-acetals and oxalyl chloride,and the product structures have been confirmed by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,and mass spectrometry data.
