China is rich in coal resources,the present situation of our country result in that coal will be the main energy source.The components of coal are complicated,actually,sulfur element generally exist in coal,those sulfur convert into gas state such as H2S,SO2,COS and CS2 when coal was utilized.The sulfur-contained gas would give rise to serious threat to human's health if without any purify.There are many ways and technologies to deal with sulfur contained pollutions,catalytic method is a potential method for sulfur contained pollution dispose,which can convert the sulfur contained gas into an important chemical intermediate named methanethiol.Molybdenum based catalysts are a kind of importance hydrodesulfurization catalysts with high catalytic activity,which were generally utilized for synthesizing CH3SH.The main contents of this thesis are investigate the The effect of different metals promoter on the synthesis of methanethiol from CO/H2/H2S mixtures on the Mo-based catalysts.N2 adsorption-desorption,XRD,Raman,XPS and NO-TPD were used to character the catalysts and the main conclusion were concluded as follows:?1?The selectivity of CH3SH are observed for K-Mo/SBA-15?62.6%?and Cs-Mo/SBA-15?65.5%?at 598 K which is higher than other catalysts.XRD?Raman and TEM indicate that the main phase of sulfured catalysts is Mo S2,and the contents of Mo S2 phase are increased after reaction.?2?XPS shows that the contents of Mo S2 phase are high in alkali metals promoted catalysts,furthermore,the MoVI/Mosum shown a positive correlation with CH3SH selectivities.NO-TPD indicated that the Mo-CUS contents are positive correlation with CH3SH,thus,the active site of Mo S2 is Mo-CUS.?3?The molybdenum based catalysts promoted with rare earth or alkaline earth can endow catalysts with synthesis CH3SH ability.The catalytic activity follow the order:alkali metal promoted catalysts>rare earth promoted catalysts>alkaline earth promoted catalysts.La Mo/MS exhibit the best catalytic activity in rare earth promoted catalysts,and the Mg Mo/MS exhibit the best catalytic activity in alkaline earth promoted catalysts.?4?The catalysts promoted with transition element have no activity in synthesizing CH3SH,the main products in these catalysts are COS and CO2.
