With the increasingly stringent requirements of national emissions from various industries and the promotion of environmental awareness in various sectors of the society,many small and medium-sized enterprises have started to actively seek efficient waste gas treatment methods.Under this background,the cartridge filter has become a new development direction due to the advantage of higher effective filtering area,lower pressure gap,smaller volume,longer service life etc.For the cartridge filter,the distribution of internal flow field has a crucial effect on dust removal efficiency and service life of equipment.At present,the cartridge filter mainly adopts the way of lower air intake and the air inlet was located at the transition position between central box and bucket.Many scholars have found that the uneven distribution of the flow field in the down-air filter box is more prominent,although different methods are proposed to interfere with the flow field distribution.The uniformity of flow field distribution has been greatly improved,but the difference of treatment gas volume between different filters is still serious.To solve this problem,a new type of upside inlet model was proposed in this paper.At the same time,numerical simulation is used to analyze the internal flow field distribution of the upside inlet cartridge filter,and compared with the filter with lower inlet air filter The analysis results show that the upper air filter is superior to the bottom air filter in dust-dust control,reducing the scour effect of the air on the filter and the uniformity of the air distribution of each filter.The analysis result of upper inlet collector showed that area near to four corners has a higher treatment cartridge volume than other parts due to layout characteristics of box structure.The box space utilization-ratio of the square box structure is low when the filter tube is installed.So a cylinder box structure was designed so as to increase reasonable space utilization-rate and the flow field analysis pointed to cylinder structure was furthered.The results show that a cylinder structure enable to have a higher space utilization-rate and flow field uniformity compared to the squared one.Finally,after determining that the upper air type filter with circular box structure has made great progress compared with the bottom air type filter with square box structure,the effect of the size of the inlet of the dust collector,the layout of the guide plate and the reasonable selection and arrangement of the scattering device on the uniformity of the flow field of the cartridge filter were further explored to search for a better scheme to make the flow field distribution more uniform.
