Recently, there are lots of long-distance pipeline projects,in the same time, lots of accidents like pipeline leak have happened.Because long-distance pipeline has characteristic like long-distance,shallow-depth,and easy to broken by geologic hazard. Many kinds of geologic hazard can break the long-distance pipeline, and cause enormous losses, even cause injuries and deaths. So it's very important to carry out geological hazard assessment.Research on the stability of landslides in order to make preventive measures in advance, prevention and control of landslides cause greater harm to the pipeline project. In this paper, two landslides in guangxi LNG long distance-pipeline project are evaluated.First of all, landslide investigations were conducted, including drilling work, field tests of high-density resistivity tests, and engineering geological surveying and mapping and other fieldwork. At the same time,it collects hydrology, meteorology, regional geological data and other work of landslide area. After the field investigation is completed, laboratory tests are conducted on the rock and soil samples taken.1.Determine the c and ? values of the soil using the triaxial shear test method.2.Saturated uniaxial compressive strength and natural uniaxial compressive strength were obtained using a flat plate compression test on bedrock.3.Perform inversion analysis of high density resistivity data.4.According to the physical and mechanical property indexes of rock and soil and the actual situation on the site, different reduction factors are adopted for the soil to determine the parameters for the stability of the landslide.Based on the engineering geological mapping and survey drawings, the Sweden slice method was used to determine the sliding surface in combination with geophysical inversion data.In the No.1 landslide, select 5 profiles in the main slide direction. The calculation model uses a polygonal sliding surface model.Calculate the stability factor and remaining sliding force of No.1 landslide in natural state and saturation state. In the No.2 landslide, select 2 profiles in the main slide direction. The calculation model uses a circular arc sliding surface model.Calculate the stability coefficient and remaining sliding force of No.2 landslide in natural state and saturation state.Analyze the causes, basic characteristics, and types of landslides at the two sites.Study the factors that affect landslides and stability-sensitive factors.Combine the experience of the region and compare landslide prevention and control measures in terms of safety and economy. The optimal scheme for No.1 landslide is avoided, and the sub-optimal scheme uses anti-slide pile support measures. The best option for No.2 landslide is the use of sheetpile retaining wall.
