Magnetic fluid is a kind of intelligent material which can be changed under the excitation magnetic field.The giant magnetostrictive material is a new type of material with high efficiency of electric magnetic and mechanical conversion.This paper presents an active damping bearing by controlling stiffness and damping,providing a solution for solving the problem of supporting technology.The magnetostrictive material has rapid response speed,large deformation range,stable deformation output,stable output force and large output magnitude.It is widely used in the field of vibration damping application,positioning control and so on.The magnetorheological f`luid is a kind of magnetic particle suspension.This magnetic particle can be controlled by the magnetic field.The distribution of the oil in the oil.When the magnetic field is added,the magnetic particles are distributed orderly along the direction of the magnetic field,and the macroscopic expression is that the viscosity of the magnetorheological fluid increases.The damping damping of sliding bearings varies with the viscosity of the magnetic fluid in the bearing clearance.Based on these two materials,a new type of smart bearings,including the magnetostrictive actuator of the stiffness control part and the magnetic fluid bearing which can adjust the damping,is proposed.The design scheme of the structure and magnetic circuit of the magnetostrictive actuator and magnetic fluid bearing is given in detail,and the feasibility of the magnetic circuit design of the stiffness control driver and the damped magnetic fluid bearing is verified by the Anasys software,and the relationship between the magnetic field intensity of the working area and the exciting current is obtained.In order to control the active vibration damping bearing better,a test system with displacement sensor and tension sensor is set up,and the time response characteristic of the stiffness control driver is studied experimentally.The effect of different current on the response time of displacement output and the response time of the output force,and the effect of different pre pressure on the response time of the stiffness controlled drive are obtained.It lays a solid foundation for the control of active vibration damping bearings.
