The spontaneous combustion of coal in China is seriously,which not only causes a great deal of freezing of coal resources,but also causes casualties and damages to equipment.Generally,CO is selected as the main index gas in all coal mines,but it is found that many coal seams contain different degrees of CO,which brings difficulties to fire prediction.The thermal evolution caused by igneous rock intruding into coal seam leads to abnormal CO emission in underground mine.In order to study the adsorption characteristics of igneous rock invading coal to CO,three coal samples were selected from Linnancang mine.The element analysis experiment,gas chromatography experiment and thermogravimetric experiment were used to analyze whether there was CO in coal,16 kinds of artificial coal samples were obtained by changing the degree of metamorphism by changing the action temperature and time of No.2 coal sample.Searching the relationship between characteristic temperature and metamorphic grade.The adsorption capacity of each coal sample was analyzed by adsorption experiments.The adsorption potential theory is used to calculate the adsorption potential.Determination of pore size distribution of coal by mercury intrusion test.The experimental results show that magma intrusion reduces the content of CO in coal.Coal samples were detected at 20 CO,and it was determined that there was CO in igneous intrusive coal.It can be found that the adsorption capacity of CO increases with the increase of metamorphic degree of coal samples,and the adsorption agrees with Langmuir adsorption.The thermal effect of igneous rock invasion of coal increases the pore volume of coal,which is the main reason for the increase of coal adsorption capacity,and the increase of the number of small holes are the essential reason.Besides,the greater the adsorption potential,the stronger the adsorption capacity of CO.
