The low-temperature combustion synthesis?LCS?method and the high-temperature solid-state reaction method were adopted to synthesize the Er3+doped barium-sodium-yttrium-fluoride up-conversion phosphor. For the experimental results of the LCS method, the best cation ratio of Er-Y-Ba-Na was 11:6:25:58 when the 1.3 times glycine were used as fuels, which was obtained by the orthogonal experiments.?NH4?2SO4 was introduced as dispersant in order to disperse the ultrafine phosphor. And the heat treatment was taken to improve the luminescence property of the sample. The best annealing temperature and time were 600?and 15min,respectively.Moreover,the reason why the ratio of green-to-red was different among the samples was studied. For the experimental results of the HSR method, the optimal sintering temperature and the holding time were 600?and 2.1 h,respectively. And the best cation ratio of Er-Y-Ba-Na was 15:10:25:50.The samples had good luminescence property which was synthesized by HSR method. However,we expected to obtain ultrafine phosphor,so the heat treatment was taken again in this part. And the optimal annealing temperature and time were 525?and 30min,respectively.Moreover,the reason why the ratio of green-to-red was different among the samples was also studied in this part.Sice the phosphors which were synthesised by LCS method and HSR method and had the best luminescence properties were obtained, the application of the phorsphors were was studied. So then up-conversion fluorescent screen was prepared by the gravity deposition method. For the experimental results of this part, the optimal electrolyte was Ba?NO3?2.And the deposition raw materials were Ba0.25Na0.58Y0.06F1.43:Er3+0.11 prepared by the LCS method and Ba0.25Na0.5Y0.1F1.65:Er3+0.15 prepared by the HSR method. Then the optimal combinations of the 2 phosphors above, sodium silicate,Ba?NO3?2 were 0.35g,5ml,0.03g;0.35g,4ml,0.02g,respectively.Furthermore,the influence of the phosphor types to the luminescence property and the transmission property of the samples was studied.
