Lanthanide rare earth fluorescence complex has an important application in the field of luminescent materials for its unique properties.Time resolved fluoroisnmuno-assay?TRFIA?is one of the important applications.In order to synthesize the new type of fluorescent complex of terbium,the following research is carried out in this thesis.For the synthesis of new organic ligands we used 3-methylsalicylic acid and2-chloroethylaminehydrochloride and other compounds as raw materials.The reaction sreps involved methylation,esterification,oxidation,substitution,bromination,hydrolysis and reduction.Employing these reaction we obtained twelve kinds of non-commercials compounds.The structure confirmation and purification was assessed by IR,MS,NMR and elemental analysis.A novel fluorescent complex of terbium-Tb3+?Me4H?2,2?IAM-tetrathiazolide was synthesized.The fluorometric studies revealed the fluorescence signal of the complex in the range of 280370 nm.The photo physicalproperties observed were 340 nm maximum excitationwavelength,488nm,545nm,589nm,617nm,were mainemissionwavelengt-hs,205 nm stokes shift as the measured by time resolvedfluorescence spectra.The luminescence lifetime of the complex is 1189?s.The complex was found to have soluble in water.The complex has ideal fluorescence properties and it is a good fluorescence material.
