The tricyanide-bridged zero-dimensional cluster molecule-based magnets have attracted much attention because of their potential applications in high-density information storage, molecular sensors and spin quantum and other fields. Thus the design and construction of zero-dimensional molecule-based magnets with special structure and magnetism is one of the hot topics in the fields of chemistry, physics and material science. In recent years, the zero-dimensional cluster molecule-based magnets have great development, but there are still some problems:?1?How to controllably construct zero-dimensional compounds;?2?How to construct charge-transfer compounds. In this paper, selecting the adjacent phenanthroline bidentate ligands and other bidentate ligand adjusts the coordination environment of the spin ions;selecting the tricyanide structures with different resistance regulates the redox potential of the FeIII ion;introducing different transition metal ions adjusts magnetism of zero-dimensional cluster molecule-based magnets. The main research results are as follows:?1?Four tricyanide-bridged metal cluster molecule-based magnets were synthesized by the reaction of different steric bidentate ligands;different steric tricyanometalate buliding units[Bu4N][FeIII?L??CN?3](L=PzTp,Tp*and TpMe)with transition metal CoII,FeII,CuIII and ZnII ions. The magnetic analysis showed that the compounds 1,3,4 and 5 exhibited anti-ferromagnetic interactions, the compound 2 displayed ferromagnetic interactions and compound 6 showed ferromagnetic interactions.?2?Tricyanide-bridged electron transfer compound 7·7CH3OH·6H2O was synthesized by the reaction of bidentate 2-?3-fluorophenyl?-1H-imidazo[4,7-f][1,10]phenanthroline;tricyanometalate builing units[Bu4N][FeIII?Tp??CN?3]with CoII ion.The compound7·7CH3OH·6H2O was dried in vaccum drying oven to obtain the compound 7.The magnetic analysis showed that the compound 7·7CH3OH·6H2O exhibited thermal induced charge transfer behavior and three-step spin transition phenomenon during the cooling process which was related with intermolecular?…?interaction.Besides, the compound 7 showed thermal and light-induced charge transfer behavior.
