With the continuous progress of economy reform and opening and the high-speed development,since the reform and opening in 1984,China attract large number of foreign investment every year.Statistics show that foreign enterprises in China will also have many employees with different cultural backgrounds,thus forming a cross-cultural enterprise management environment.In the process of multinational operation,enterprises should face and balance cultures differences and conflict,such as domestic culture,host country culture,corporate culture and individual culture,the greater the difference between cultures,the greater the conflict of heterogeneous cultures.Therefore,multinational operation is an economic activity as well as a social and cultural activity.The existence of cultural differences has both positive and negative effects on MNCs.Thus,how to manage cross-cultural management in order to avoid the negative effects of cultural differences and conflicts has become a common problem faced by multinational enterprises.Based on a large number of references to cross-cultural management in domestic and abroad as theoretical basis,the paper taken GP China companies as the research object,and combined cultural conflicts specific performance and impact which caused by cultural differences of the company.The paper conducted a management interview,and employee questionnaire survey to analysis the culture conflict problems from the perspective of values,management and work style differences,communication and HR policy.In the end,the paper brings some suggestions to improve the cross-culture management of GPC in the aspects of the construction of organizational culture,the establishment of an effective mode of intercultural management and the implementation of the integration of globalization and localization etc.The main conclusion of this paper is that if the multinational enterprises want to achieve long-term development in China,they should improve the cross-cultural management,understand the cultural differences of the host country,and integrate the host culture with the national culture and the enterprise culture,reduce the negative impact on the organizational performance caused by the cultural conflict.The success of cross culture management promotes the long-term development of enterprises.
