The Structure Design And Control System Study Of Annular Seam Welder

During the welding process of wine fermenter,the semi-automatic welder often appears misalignment and lack of weld,due to the low precision of the production of the tank.At present,the manufacturer of fermenter can only weld it artificially.But artificial welding has the problems of low productivity,high-cost,unstable product quality,strong labor intensity and bad welding environment.In order to solve the problem which appeared in the welding process,a kind of automatic seam welder based on machine vision technology is designed.The design contents in this paper includes mechanical structure design and welding machine system design.The annular seam welder solve the tracking problem of welding torch by three independent axes.The fermenter is installed vertically on the rotary platform controlled by the spindle.The welding torch is mounted on the plane cross tracking mechanism consisting of two sliding table.Then,through the coordinated movement of the two axes and the spindle of the seam tracking mechanism,the welding line movement and the welding torch tracking weld are completed.Through careful analysis of the performance of the weld and the base metal of the fermenter,and combining with the practical experience of the workers,the mixed gas shielded welding is used as the welding mode of the fermenter,and the proper proportion of the mixed gas can reduce the spatter rate in the welding process.This paper selects the motion control system which is embedded in the PC mode of NC,and then we confirm the choose of motion controller and servo system.Motion controller can use VB and LabVIEW software to develop software system,this paper choose LabVIEW software as the software develop platform,we write welding program by called the motion function in the DLL dynamic link library,and make man-machine interface on the display equipment of automatic welding machine.The control program of automatic welder includes the program of system initialization,seam tracking,data processing and automatic welding.The control method of automatic welder and the idea of data processing are introduced in detail.Finally,according to the control system hardware scheme we complete the installation annular seam welder and electrical wiring,then complete the test of simulated welding.The test result show that the annular seam welder meet the precision that manufacturers require,and the welder can be applied to practical engineering.
