Digital Model Establishment And Key Parameter Measurement Of Complex Cutting Tools

In the manufacturing industry,the hole machining technology is developing continuously.And the twist drill occupies the main position in hole machining,the precision requirement is constantly impacting the major tool manufacturers.The geometric parameters measurement of cutting tools is an essential process in the development and production of drilling tools.In recent years,the tool measuring equipment is emerging,the measurement technology is also developing rapidly.At present,in the field of tool measurement.Foreign tooling equipment occupy most of the domestic and international market space in the field of tool measurement.And a number of domestic enterprises and tool research organizations are also studying of efficient measurement methods to develop with independent intellectual property rights measuring instrument,but the effect is not very obvious.At present,there is no more efficient method than foreign equipment.So,an efficient tool measuring methods is to be developed.In this paper,combined with the actual situation of Dalian JiRui Tools Co.,Ltd.,and select the diameter of 9.4mm standard twist drill is select as experimental subject of the complex drilling tool.ATOS Compact Scan is using to scan point cloud data on the surface,to obtain the information of point cloud data on twist drill surface.Through studying the structure and modeling method of twist drill,and combining with the characteristics of twist drill structure,the model parameters using in the modeling process is determine.The twist drill modeling parameters is extracted by using the obtained point cloud data in this paper.Then the key parameters are applied to model the standard twist drill in the three-dimensional modeling software of Pro/E.and the realistic three-dimensional solid model of twist drill is obtained.Based on the 3D model of twist drill,each datum of the twist drill are the established.The geometric parameters measurement of twist drill are accomplished.And it also can obtain the key parameters of twist drill quickly,efficiently and accurately.The works provide data support for the machining and grinding of cutting tool and has an important significance for the parameter measurement of complex cutting tools.Finally,Dalian Ji Rui Tools Co.,Ltd.DJCLY12 A measuring instrument and Yuan Dong Tools ZOLLER genius 3 measuring instrument,the results of this paper are verified is used to verify the results of twist drill parameters in this paper.And the correctness of the parameters obtained are proved.Through the comparison of the results error,the operation errors are analyzed,and the measurement method used in this paper is reasonable.
