In view of the large amount of slime in Chaochuan Coal Preparation Plant and the problem that the existing process can not effectively recover this part of slime,this paper proposes to optimize the slime separation process of the coal preparation plant by using a teeter bed.In this paper,two sets of coarse slime separation system with traditional disturbance bed and new type of damped disturbing bed as the core are firstly constructed.Taking the slime of slime sieve at Chaochuan Coal Preparation Plant as the research object,slime sorting effect is evaluated.The results showed that when the ash content of the coal was less than 10.00%,the yield of the new type of damped teeter bed was 3.31%higher than that of the conventional teeter bed,the ash content of the coal was reduced by 0.58%and the sorting accuracy was improved by 0.1g/cm3.Based on the comparison of two kinds of sorting systems,a more efficient new type of damped disturbing bed is selected to optimize the coarse slime separation process at Chao Chuan Coal Preparation Plant.Before designing a new process,the coarse slime separation performance of the new damped disturbing bed was explored.The Design Expert software was used to design the sorting test and analyze the influence of the three main operating parameters of rising water flow rate,feed concentration and feed rate on the yield of clean coal and the ash content of the clean coal.The analysis showed that the velocity of rising water has the most significant effect on the yield of refined coal and the ash content of the refined coal,followed by the feed concentration,and the feeding rate has the least effect on the test results.The linear model can accurately describe the yield of clean coal and the ash content.Based on the estimation of the parameters of each factor,a linear mathematical model that can be used to describe the relationship of yield of refined coal,the ash content of coal and each operating parameter.The test results were optimized.Aiming at the deficiencies existing in the present separation process of Chaochuan Coal Preparation Plant,a new technology for coarse slime separation with the teeter bed as the core was designed.The quantity and quality of flow calculation and benefit evaluation of the new technology were designed.The results showed that the new technology of coarse slime separation can reduce the consumption of heavy medium and flotation reagents,increase the total throughput of the coal preparation plant and bring considerable social and economic benefits to the coal preparation plant.
