Yushen mining area has abundant reserves of coal resources,excellent coal quality,simple geological structure and superior mining conditions.However,with long wall fully mechanized mining,long wall interval mining and traditional room column mining,the catastrophe of large area collapse often occurs,which not only causes serious casualties and huge economic losses to the mine,but also like a sword hanging on the top of local governments and enterprise leaders at all levels.The study of monitoring and controlling method for large area collapse is very important for safety production at work face.The methods of similar material simulation experiment,computer numerical simulation and theoretical calculation analysis and coal mine field test are used in this paper to study the large area collapse catastrophe in different mining methods of elm God and the study on the method of the forced caving of open cut eyes and the small area without disaster of the roof.Similar simulation experiments have been carried out to study the forced caving parameters of open hole blasting in the long wall face of Yushan fully mechanized mining face,and the best choice for the forced initial caving of open cut hole deep hole blasting is the best choice for preventing the large area collapse of the roof,and the physical similarity simulation experiment,numerical simulation and field test are used to study the combination of the method.The isolated coal pillar and the geometric parameters of the temporary coal pillar have realized the goal of small area without disaster and large area collapse under the method of single pillar support long wall interval mining.On the basis of analyzing existing problems of existing housing pillar mining,theoretical analysis and numerical simulation are used to carry out the retention of coal pillar.Parameters,mining technology and so on to prevent catastrophic collapse of roof.The experimental research shows that the method of monitoring and control makes the roof no longer a large area of collapse to ensure the safety of the working face,and the research results have important guiding significance to the control of the large area collapse of Yushen Coal Roof.
