Composed of nanimonomers as building blocks,nanopolymers are a new type of polymers connected by single or multiple covalent bonds and possessing the characteristic of both nanomaterials and polymers.Different from the single covalent bond coupling nanopolymers,the development of multiple covalent bond coupling nanopolymers are expected to reveal more features of nanopolymers.Therefore,the introduction of spiro-arenes with two orthogonal ?-systems into organic rhomboidal monogridarenes that dramatically differ from ladder-type nanogrids and windmill-type gridarenes previously,makes the synthesis of spirogrid-based 1D nanopolymers possible.Research work of this thesis focuses on three aspects as follows:1.Based on the Suzuki and Friedel-Crafts coupling reactions,six A1B1-type L-shaped substrates of SITFs,SFX and SFDBX were synthesized,the reaction conditions of L-shaped substrates of SITF was optimized which get a high yield of 50%,gridization of A1B1-type L-shaped substrates was promoted,and a series of rhomboidal nanogrids were built.What's more,we also obtained the possible structure of one of the isomers of RNG through NMR analyses.2.Based on Suzuki coupling Reactions,a A1B1-type L-shaped substrates L - 1d of SITF and a A2B2-type ?-shaped substrates Tr of SDTF were synthesized,through Friedel-Crafts coupling reactions,a spirogrid(SG)was built with a yield of 11%,and the influence of reaction time was explored,gaining 30 min as the best time.What's more,the intramolecular Friedel-Crafts coupling gridization of another A2B2-type substrate with a yield up to 85.9% was indicated by comparison.3.Based on intermolecular Friedel-Crafts coupling reactions,a polyspirogrid(PSG)was synthesized,some PSGs with different molecular weight were gained by increase of reaction time and an optimal reaction condition was filtered,leading to the build of PSG with a degree of polymerization of 27 - 29.
