In the process of measuring temperature of industry,the temperature measurement of aluminum is still mainly based on contact method.Aim at this problem,a multispectral radiation thermometer working in the mid infrared band is developed for temperature measurement of aluminum materials.It is composed of preposition light system,grating monochromator,detector,calibration system,host computer system and display system.Through the design of software,the multispectral temperature measurement algorithm is integrated into Qt software to measure the surface temperature of the material and obtain the brightness temperature,emissivity and other values.Experiments are conducted to correct the nonuniformity of the detector's spectral response.Aiming at the large fluctuation of detector spectral response,gauss fitting is applied to data fitting.The wavelength calibration is carried out with the principle of monochromatic light selected by grating monochromator.The instrument is calibrated with the blackbody radiation source in the range of working temperature of the instrument.Several different metal materials were tested at the same temperature.The results show that the emissivity measured among the materials is similar to the theoretical emissivity.The measured true temperature values are basically the same.Testing of aluminum materials at different temperatures,the results showed that the instrument could work normally under high temperature,while under low temperature,the temperature of aluminum material can not be accurately measured because of the weak radiation signal.Finally,the stability of the instrument for aluminum material measurement is tested.The results show that the instrument is accurate,reliable and stable,and the design of the instrument has met the expected requirements.
