Lime plays an important role in metallurgical industry.The metallurgical lime has many advantages,such as accelerating the speed of smelting,improving the quality of pig iron and reducing impurities in steel.It can get very good application in many ways,for example,in the wet process of Flue Gas Desulfurization,acid industrial wastewater treatment,and other areas of environmental protection,as well as the preparation of sinter light Ca CO3?C3H5Cl O?Al2O3 in the process of chemical production and smelting metals.Under the high temperature calcining,CaCO3 can be decomposed in the kiln to produce lime.The higher the activity degree of lime,the better the lime performance is.In order to get better steel quality to promote industrial progress,better lime producing which produced by kiln and satisfy the actual requirement is considered to be a problem which must be solved at an early date.On the basis of contrastively analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of many kinds of kiln furnaces,this paper comprehesively states the advantages of TGS-480 gas-burned vertical kiln,which is the newly-built equipment in the Angang Refractory Company.The advantages are simple operation,high daily output,and good quality lime production.Because there is no complete and reasonable technical control guidelines since putting into production in commission,for the purpose of optimize technological parameter and producing qualified lime,this paper carries out the research into the followings:Firstly,the paper analys the work flow of TGS-480 gas-burned vertical kiln,and briefly illustrates the main component.By fishbone diagram,the paper researches into the factors which influence the lime quality,and achieves the conclusion that there are 7 key factors which have influence on the lime quality in the TGS-480 gas-burned vertical kiln production.Next,this paper mainly discusses the influence of lime quality on four aspects of particle size of Ca CO3,the content of Ca O,calcination T and the calcining time by the control variables method in the laboratory,and finds out that the highest lime activity degree can be gotten,which is up to 270 ml,under the conditions of1200?,the granularity of 40 to 60 mm,more than 50%Ca O content of limestone as raw materials and 80 mins calcination.Finally,the paper mainly studies on the 3 influence factors of lime activity,which are converter gas calorific value,air-coal ratio and the burner gas allocation proportion by the control variables method in the actual industrial production testing.And find out the optimum values of these 3 factors:the converter gas calorific is1550Kcal/nm3,the best air-coal ratio is 1:0.7,the optimal allocation of each row gas nozzles is the nozzles of the first row:the second row:the third row:the fourth row:the center=1:4:2:1:2.When the above three techonological parameters affecting gas-burned vertical kiln calcination in the lime quality control are all in the optimal value,the best quility lime can be achieved,in the range of 274-280 ml.
