The solution of power train of the domestic DU-type horizontal-belt vacuum filters(called as DU filter briefly)traditionally uses the hollow shaft reducers.Unfortunately,during the actual process,it's easy to jam.So we want to design a new solution of power train of the DU filter,particularly used for the equipment which the filtration area is 30M~2.The solution should be inexpensive,installed and maintained easily and its performance should be stable with the enough life.Firstly,we choose three sorts of solutions of this kind of DU filter'power train:the solution based on flange couplings,the solution based on the chain,the solution based on the crown gear couplings.Considering the cost generally,we choose the solution based on flange couplings.Meanwhile,the couplings are optimized,to ensure that the quality of them is minimum.Secondly,we established the torsional vibration system mechanical model by using lumped mass method,and the differential equation was gained.We could know the natural frequencies of this system via solving the differential equation.Comparing the natural frequencies with the meshing frequencies of gears in the speed reducer,we prove we avoid the resonance.Then,the Solidworks software is used to carry out the 3D modeling of the power train,and the fatigue life simulation is carried out by using Simulation,the cloud pictures of damage and life are gained.It's obvious that the fatigue life is qualified.Finally,we develop the software further,so that we could achieve to carry out the 3D modeling of the flange couplings automatically.And we could transfer the 3D modeling into engineering drawing automatically.The solution have been used in the industry practically.Because of the using during the industrial process,we could reckon that the solution is practical and usable.The research result,to some extent,could be an example to propose a reference to the peers.
