Prom the principle of motion analysis,the parallel motion has the advantages of high precision,high rigidity,high speed,small moving parts and so on,therefore,parallel machine tool is an important development direction of new generation machine tool structure.The research and development of 6-PTRT parallel machine tool is a key technology to promote its application.according to the structure and parameters of the machine tool,it is an important link to improve the machining efficiency and precision by changing the cutter location file into a specific machine.Most of the post processors in CAD/CAM software are oriented to serial machine tools,therefore,it is necessary to develop a special post processor for 6-PTRT parallel machine tools.This paper analyzes the structure and principle of 6-PTRT parallel machine tool,calculated the degree of freedom,a kinematics model is established,and solved the inverse solution and workspace of the parallel machine tool position,velocity and acceleration,and then the inverse solution is verified by simulation results show that the algorithm is correct.In the post-processing,the paper analyzes the relationship between the cutter location file and the NC program and the specific process of post processing.The interpolation algorithm is constructed by using the two interpolation,this paper analyzes the influence of the joint space using linear and PVT interpolation on the accuracy of the operation space.In the allowable range of the contour error,the algorithm of linear acceleration and deceleration and the smooth transition between multiple programs are given to ensure the accuracy and speed stability of the trajectory.In the development of numerical control system,VC is used to develop the software.The system can run the NC program and can display the information of the machine tool and the manual operation of the machine tool.The system can be converted into 6-PTRT parallel machine tool NC machining program by adding post-processing function.Finally,the cutting experiment is carried out.The results show that the numerical control system runs stably,and the NC program generated by post processing can meet the actual machining requirements.
