| Marine diesel engine,as the main power plant in vessels,is the heart of the production of ships.With the popularization of digital manufacturing technology,mature CAD/CAM industrial software has been widely applied to the actual production of marine diesel engines.However,due to the geometric and the process characteristics of diesel engine parts,advanced CAM technology has never been implemented in enterprises.The current CNC programming method is backward and inefficient.In addition,the process integration and information sharing between the process design and numerical control programming cannot be realized.In addition,a large quantity of human intervention for information interpretation and transmission is still needed.Based on the full investigation and analysis of the current situation of CAD/CAM integration in diesel engine manufacturing enterprises,and combining the technology of feature recognition and MBD,this research designs and develops a CAM system oriented to design and manufacturing integration,so as to solve the technical problems emerging in the actual production,improve the production mode as well as the overall manufacturing level of marine diesel engines.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)The design of the plan of integration among CAM and other production modules.The feature is introduced into the manufacturing of diesel engine parts.According to the geometric and process characteristics of diesel engine parts,the geometric information and the non-geometric semantic information is fused to realize the definition of the manufacturing features of marine diesel engine key parts,and the standardized description of the features is given.The intelligent interface between CAPP and CAM is realized based on the feature definition,and a unified data source system based on MBD model is established as well.PLM is used as the information integrated management platform to manage the technology files effectively,such as NC code,CLSF and so on.(2)Research on manufacturing feature recognition technology of marine diesel engine key parts based on feature definition.According to the definition and standardized description of the manufacturing features,the feature description information is modeled by graph theory,and the feature recognition based on sub-graph isomorphism is implemented,which provides important support for subsequent manufacturing process.(3)Research on manufacturing technology based on features.The structure and specific content of the reusable NC machining process sets are designed and constructed.According to the feature definition and feature recognition,the automatic match of the reusable feature NC process is realized,which can realize the automatic tool path planning of the manufacturing features.According to the requirements of NC program format and content,the post-processing is customized to generate NC programs which satisfy the practical machining requirements.Finally,the NC program or tool path is simulated and verified based on VERICUT to check the correctness of programs and tool paths.(4)The development of prototype system.Combining the actual demand of enterprise,the CAM prototype system for design and manufacturing integration is developed based on the NX platform,in terms of the above basic theories.Moreover,the feasibility and practicability of the system are verified through an example. |
