Traditional studies on the self-assembly of surfactants and polyelectrolyte complexes have been limited due to the low critical micelles concentration that are prone to precipitation.In order to obtain homogeneous water-soluble surfactants and polyelectrolyte complexes,there is a need to increase the hydrophilicity of this complex in aqueous solution.Therefore,the introduction of hydrophilic segments into the polyelectrolyte by various polymerization methods has become a common method.The solubility of the complex in aqueous solution increased by the solubility of the hydrophilic segments.When the ratio of the hydrophilic segment to the hydrophobic segment is controlled within a narrow range,the complex can form a transparent uniform ion gel.Ionic gels have a rich microscopic network structure due to the entanglement of the molecular chains of the composites.They are equipped with high electrical conductivity and special flexibility and showing great promise in biomedicine,gas separation,brakes,organic thin film transistors,and flexible materials.In this paper,a multi-responsive ionic gel based on supra-amphiphiles was prepared.Its preparation and research process as follows: Polyethylene glycol with trisulfide bonds at both ends is used as a macromolecular chain shifter,then adding different amounts of tert-butyl acrylate and isopropyl acrylamide and thus synthesized triblock polymers with different degrees of monomer by reversible addition fracture chain transfer(RAFT)reaction,Target block polymers were synthesized by hydrolysis of tert-butyl acrylate in the above polymer to acrylic acid under the action of trifluoroacetic acid,and then compounded with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide in water to form supra-amphiphiles;supra-amphiphiles formed by block polymers with different degrees of monomer polymerization have different phenomena.Ion gel formed by the supra-amphiphiles prepared with an acrylic acid degree of polymerization of 84 and an isopropylacrylamide polymerization degree of 37 is used as a standard,and its micelle morphology is determined by transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering,it was confirmed to be sphere with diameter of 55 nm.The dynamic modulus curves at different temperatures,pH,anions andcations ratios,and salt concentrations were measured by a fluid viscoelastic spectrometer,and it was found that the sample self-assembled structure also changed with the change of the above conditions,thus it confirmed that the ion gel based on supra-amphiphiles is able to respond to various stimuli.
