Alumina is one of the most important metal oxides.Single dispersed spherical alumina powder has alumina powder excellent performance of while and both good of liquidity and dispersion,rules spherical morphology,grain degrees size moderate and distribution uniform characteristics,so widely application to crystal material,and laser crystal material,and transparent ceramic and biological ceramic,quality requirements of function ceramic of preparation;and due to its reasonable of Aperture structure and smooth of particles surface,makes its in catalyst and the catalyst carrier of application in the play with increasingly highlight of role;while in grinding polishing field,Due to its excellent physical and chemical properties and is more widely used.Although there are many researchers engaged in researching in this area,but good preparation technology of spherical alumina has yet to mature.Therefore,the study of more advanced preparation technologies of monodisperse spherical alumina powder has a very important significance.Particle size by alkoxide method in this paper about 400 nm of monodisperse spherical hydrated alumina powders with high purity.By studying the effects of reaction conditions on the hydrolysis products,found in many factors,pH adjuster ammonia and most noticeable effect of CTAB surfactant.According to the theory of isoelectric point,in their common role in ammonia dominant:on the one hand is due to ammonia by changing the pH of the system to effect change of CTAB on the other hand,ammonia provides extra OH~-and CTAB dissociation to get CTA~+the formation of hydrogen bonds,has some effects of particle dispersion in solution.Finally,for monodisperse spherical mechanism analysis of spherical hydrated alumina,it involves nucleation and nucleus grew up,the surface and interface analysis of grain growth.We believe that the pelletizing process is divided into 3 stages,namely nucleation and nucleus of growth,grain size,grain size and surface modification.Among them,the particles grew up this phase and surface modification on the morphology of spherical particles eventually played a decisive role in the formation.
