The organic electroluminescent materials have regained much more attention since the organic electroluminescent devices have been fabricated with good performance and multi-layer structure by Deng Qingyun and Van Slyke.Phosphorescent iridium complexes have the advantages of high luminous efficiency,good stability and easy adjustment of light color,which are regarded as potential replacements in future display and solid-state lighting techniques.In this paper,a series of novel Iridiun complexes have been designed and synthesized to explor the properties of the materials.Detail are as fellows:(1)A series of different structures of Iridium coordination compounds with tetrazole and fluorenyl have been designed and synthesized.The solubility of the complex is increased by alkylation of the fluorenyl group.The cyanide reaction is carried out with cuprous cyanide,and then the bipolar host material is synthesized by the tetrazolation reaction of sodium azide.Finally,a series of iridium complexes was synthesized by ethyl-substituted hydrogens on tetrazole and aucillary ligands and host ligands coordinated with Iridium.The molecular structures determined at 100 K were unambiguously confirmed by single-crystal x-ray structure analysis.Then the photophysical and photochemical properties of materials were tested and the bandgap were reduces by diphenylamine.(2)Based on the study of tetrazole,the bipolar host materials with oxadiazole as the electron transport unit and fluorene as the hole transport unit were designed and synthesized by the reaction of acid chlorides with tetrazole groups.The different coordination modes of iridium complexes with the same ligand was synthesized by modifying the groups on the phenyl.This series of complexes was tested for photophysical properties and photochemical properties,and then the electronic cloud distribution was further studied by theoretical calculations.Finally,electroluminescent devices with high performance were successfully fabricated based on spin-coating techniques.(3)The iridium complex with the groups of diphenylamine and oxadiazole were designed and synthesised,and the photophysical properties,photochemical properties and the electroluminescent properties of the devices were studied.
