DNA nanotechnology is the design and manufacture of artificial nucleic acid structures for technological uses.In this field,nucleic acids are used as non-biological engineering materials to create static and dynamic structures.DNA origami can provide its high programmability to nanomaterials with strong addressability and flexible functionalization sites.In this case,the “bottom-up” assemble nanostructures would have novel physical and chemical properties.In this thesis,DNA origami was utilized as nanostructures carrier to fabricate a series of different gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)and gold nanorods(AuNRs)arrangement structures.The AuNPs and AuNRs arrangement structures show various surface plasmon resonance properties.The main contents of this research are described as follows:1.Designed a DNA origami template consisting of two juxtaposed ladder-like troughs and functionalized the surface sites to capture the AuNPs and AuNRs.The DNA origami-AuNP building block and DNA origami-AuNR building block were constructed by hybridizing with corresponding Au NP(11 nm)and AuNR(13×38 nm)which modified with thiol-modified DNA.2.Designed and constructed alternately arranged DNA origami-gold nanostructure building blocks.Investigated the ability of DNA origami template to regulate the arrangement of AuNPs and AuNRs.Self-assembled a series of chain-like gold nanostructure arrangement structures.3.Designed and fabricated a series of length-controllable gold nanostructures arrangement which comprise of AuNPs and AuNRs together,including homogeneous gold nanostructures arrangement and heterogeneous gold nanostructures arrangement.The ultraviolet-visible absorption spectra shown that different gold nanostructures arrangement behaved different surface plasmon resonance coupling because of the size and position.
