| The traditional culture of China is extensive and profound.As an important part of it,China’s traditional costume culture also has a long history and contains a rich cultural heritage.Collar shoulder is one of China’s important traditional women’s costumes.It is decorated on the shoulders.The uniqueness of the style and the decorativeness of the pattern show its unique artistic language.The origin and development of collar shoulder have gone through a long process.As a costume per se,it satisfies people’s wearing needs,but from the aspects of folk custom,culture and art,collar shoulder are more people’s pursuit of spiritual culture.It cherished the blessings of a good life,demonstrated the artistry of the craftsmen,and also embodied the aesthetics of people wearing clothing,which was full of profound traditional culture and folk customs.As a precious cultural heritage,collar shoulder was created to protect the shoulders from being contaminated by dirt.However,with the popularity and development of collar shoulder,it has become an important part of the ancient dress hierarchy system.As an important part of the art of collar shoulder,the decorative collar shoulder demonstrates its decorative meaning and emotional significance far more than its original practical value.Today,with the rapid development of the times,accompanied by people’s constant satisfaction with material needs,the growth in spiritual needs does not match.In recent years,the spirit of craftsmanship has become a word that people often talk about.Today,as industrialization and informationization fill our lives,the contradiction between traditional manual craftsmanship and batch automation has increasingly highlighted the spirit of craftsmanship.The ingenuity of the decorative collar shoulder is an excellent interpretation of the spirit of the craftsman.We should provide a theoretical basis for modern design and practice with the help of the research of traditional art,to find more possibilities and to let the "craftsman spirit" let traditional art return to our life.Therefore,in this paper,we use literature research,field study,and other research methods to analyze the decorative collar shoulder,under the premise of inheritance and development,combined with the multidisciplinary knowledge of archaeology,aesthetics,sociology,and folklore.We analyze and summarize the cultural background,historical origins,and artistic characteristics of the decorative collar shoulder.Combined with the characteristics of modern design,we identify how collar shoulder inspires the modern ideas,finally come to the conclusion and apply the elements of collar shoulder to the modern design,providing a new theoretical basis and practical basis for the use of the elements of collar shoulder. |
