The working space of heavy machine tools is large,which leads to heavy partial load and large inertia.The variable cutting load can reach up to 150 KN and the inertia load is more than 200 tons.Heavy machine tools require high reliability and safety for long-term processing,thus they run at low speed,which prone to low-speed crawling phenomenon.To avoid this phenomenon,efficient and large capacity servo drive and drag system are used in the heavy machine tool motion control and transmission.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the inertia matching of machine tools with speed and torque constraints.This paper analyzes the inertia matching of the multi motor of heavy machine tool and gives the specification of the feed servo drive calculation and the motor selection.Based on a feeding transimission mechanism for multi-motor drive rack and pinio of heavy machine,this paper build the mathematical model of the mechanical system of and the corresponding simulation model of double motor,four motor driving.By comparing the position tracking error and table speed of experiment and simulation,the accuracy of the model can be verified.Besides,this paper gives several specific evaluation indexes of time domain and frequency domain.Based on mobile GMC1600H/2 five coordinate beam machining center and Longmen XK2860 CNC milling machine X axis of Longmen,the inertia match simulation of single motor,double motor and the four motor are performed.Furthermore,this paper analyzes the optimal inertia under different conditions and gives the reference value of optimal inertia under 66 working conditions.In this paper,Wuhan heavy,North,two Qi machine,and Qiqihar heavy machine motor are selected as an example to introduce the process of motor selection calculation and check of the motor.The existing motor selection software can be verified with four large enterprises of the machine tool.The results show that the software can choose the motor used in the enterprise or similar motors in performace,verifying the effectivenss of the motor selection software.
