More than 85% of buried gas metal pipeline accidents are directly related to metal corrosion. At present, the corrosion protection of buried metal pipelines is mainly protected by anti-corrosion layer and cathodic protection. The coating provides 99% protection for the pipe, while the remaining 1% is provided by cathodic protection.PCM,ACVG,and DCVG technologies are the most common and widely used detection technologies.Due to their simple use, high detection efficiency, and high detection accuracy, they are widely used in the detection of oil and gas pipelines.Because the active signal detection method is adopted,in the detection process,it is easy to be interfered by stray current, low frequency current, etc.,which causes the interference signal and the detection signal to be superimposed or cancelled, which directly affects the accuracy of the detection result. At present, the detection of soil corrosivity is still lacking in pertinence, and the components of blind detection are large, and should be optimized according to the actual object to be tested. The potential measurement of the cathodic protection is a prerequisite for ensuring the normal operation of the cathodic protection. When measuring the potential, the technology of the energization potential and the de-energization potential should be optimized according to the environmental conditions.Due to the complex structure of the buried pipe network,it is easily affected by various external factors. Therefore, the detection technology, the detection process and the detection object should be reasonably optimized and analyzed in the detection process to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of the detection.Through technology optimization, the detection technology threshold and detection cost can be reduced to a certain extent,so that small and medium-sized gas companies can actively invest in pipeline inspection. For gas operators, comprehensive inspection and excavation inspection of buried metal pipelines are time-consuming and costly, and the practical significance is not significant.Optimizing pipeline inspection methods and contents, focusing on pipe corrosion and cathodic protection issues, can effectively grasp Pipeline conditions, accurate repair plans to ensure the integrity of the pipeline.
