The paper studied and prepared antibacterial film which basement membranae was sodium alginate/sodium carboxymethyl cellulose blend membrane and antibacterial agent was essential oils of Chinese herbal medicine,and apply antibacterial film on cherry preservative packaging,in order to prolong the preservation period of cherry.Firstly,the strains of Botrytis cinerea,Penicillium and Rhizopus,which were the main hazard to fruits and vegetables,were selected as the tested strains.Antibacterial activity of cinnamon,cloves,mint,chuanxiong and spearmint five essential oils were studied by filter paper diffusion method,then two kinds of cinnamon and clove essential oil with better antibacterial activity were screened out.Their antimicrobial durability was analyzed,qualitative analysis was carried out by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry?GC-MS?,the minimum inhibitory concentration?MIC?and the best mixed ratio were also investigated.Then by using casting method,sodium alginate and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose as the membrane matrix,cassia oil and clove oil as antibacterial agent and glycerol as plasticizer,CaCl2 as crosslinking agent prepared herbal antimicrobial film,through the study of influence of sodium alginate and carboxymethyl cellulose sodium ratio,glycerol concentration,CaCl2 concentration,oil concentration of Chinese herbal medicine to the blend film tensile strength and elongation,transmittance,thickness,oxygen permeability,moisture permeability,hygroscopicity and antibacterial properties,to determine the content of each component in antibacterial membrane of Chinese herbal medicine,using IR and SEM characterize the microstructure of membrane;The herbal oil antibacterial film,sodium alginate/sodium carboxymethyl cellulose blend film,PE film coated with cherry,the sensory evaluation,decay rate,weight loss rate,soluble solids content,color difference and total bacterial count of cherry were analyzed.The results showed that under the inhibition of gas phase the inhibition zone diameters of clove essential oil to Botrytis cinerea,Penicillium sp.and Rhizopus oryzae were 42mm,48mm,29mm,respectively,the inhibition zone diameters of cinnamon essential oil to three kinds of fungi were as high as 90mm,two kinds of essential oils had good antimicrobial durability.The MIC of clove essential oil to Botrytis cinerea was 1.74ul/ml,to Penicillium and Rhizopus were 0.75ul/ml;cinnamon oil on Botrytis cinerea,Penicillium and Rhizopus MIC were 0.12ul/ml,1.18ul/ml and 0.25ul/ml,the two combined antibacterial index FIC was 0.75,results showed that the strong addition effect was better than the single antibacterial effect,and the optimum ratio of clove oil and cinnamon oil was 3.5:1.Compound antibacterial agent in the film solution can be uniformly dispersed,when sodium alginate and carboxymethyl cellulose sodium mass ratio was 9:1,the volume concentration of cassia oil and clove oil was 2%,glycerol concentration was 1.5%,CaCl2 concentration was 3%,Chinese herbal medicine essential oil antibacterial membrane had the strongest comprehensive performance.Herbal oil antibacterial film had good fresh-keeping effect on cherry.
