The steering front axle of car usually connected by the suspension system and the frame or bearing body connection,when it is switching,The front axle can be affected by a variety of complex working environment.In recent years,the lightweight and serialization of ax le products has been the trend of the industry and the key component to improve the operation stability.The front axle in the front axle as a security component,once the design strength is not enough,it is easy to lead to parts failure,and even the front axle fracture harm,affecting personal and property security.With the increasing application of computers,the finite element analysis is becoming more and more widely used in automobile design.Therefore,it has a vital significance to design a welding front axle combination of finite element analysis method to reply the front axle products should be light weight and the versatile market requirements.Based on the research about the axle design method and the current situation of the welding front axle,combined with the market development and the actual needs of the company,this paper takes a new type of welding front axle as the research object,and makes a brief overview of the structure of the front axle,combined with the actual production of enterprises to determine the design of the welding front axle of the bridge shell in the impact conditions,braking conditions and the maximum lateral force under the force of the theoretical analysis and calculation to find the weak shell And optimize the design.The stress distribution and deformation of the bridge shell are analyzed by using ABAQUS.The design of the bridge shell is guided by the theory of equal strength,and the modal analysis is carried out to verify the rationality of the front axle structure.The design results of the front axle are verified by the bench test,which lay a solid foundation for the stable operation of the axle and provide a design method for the welding front axle.
