It needs to fracture for tight sandstone oil reservoir to mine effectively. But injection water flow along the fissures when water-flooding.It leads to the high moisture content of the well and there are still huge quantities of crude oil after water retention in the matrix block. As an important oil recovery mechanism of tight sandstone reservoir, imbibition can take advantage of capillary force extract crude oil from small pore to enhance oil recovery. Therefore,it is important to study the contribution of imbibition to improve oil recovery basing on imbibition experiment. This paper conducted a spontaneous imbibition experiment and cyclic water flooding simulation experiment to study the mechanism, type, influence factors of imbibition and influence law to enhance oil recovery.Through the spontaneous imbibition experiment, this paper analyzes the influence of temperature, rock wettability, permeability, oil viscosity and interfacial tension to imbibition recovery efficiency and imbibition recovery rate.Put the core in the surfactant solution after water flooding and water flood again after waiting for a period of time.By observing the facial oil of core, analysis the effect of surfactant on enhancing oil recovery and mechanism.By cyclic water flooding simulation experiment, the effect of pressure-out time, pressure of injection water and injection cycle on imbibition was studied. Then select the best suitable development parameters for tight sandstone reservoir. In this paper, the results can provide certain theoretical basis and experimental support to improve the oil recovery by imbibition for tight sandstone oil reservoir.
