The Resistivity Logging While Drilling are widely used in the complex reservoirs and nontraditional reservoirs, and are key technologies for geometry steerable drilling and evaluating stratum in real time.Because of the complex geology, lithology and thickness of the strata, the interpretation of the resistivity data and the difficulty of stratum evaluation,it is necessary to study the numerical simulation methods of resistivity logging while drilling.First,in this paper, based on the extensive investigation of the principle of resistivity logging while drilling,a horizontal stratum model is established. Then, for the electromagnetic wave resistivity logging, the expression of the electromagnetic field in any stratum is deduced by the mode wave decomposition method. The Hankel transform method is used to solve the electromagnetic field component quickly, and the resistivity response law under the typical stratum model is analyzed.Secondly, for the near-bit resistivity logging, the finite element method is used to solve the partial differential equation satisfying the potential at the bit.The calculation program is written by ANSYS finite element analysis software, and the resistivity response law of the typical formation is analyzed. The research work provides a theoretical basis for the interpretation of drilling resistivity logging data and the evaluation of formation.
