Automotive glass enamel refers to the black glass slurry which was printed on the edge around the automotive windshields,it will form black ink layer after drying and sintering.The automotive glass enamel is used to decorate the car,prevent the chemical changes between the car body and glass,cover conductive lines and absorb ultraviolet lights.At present,the overseas research on automotive glass enamel has been relatively mature.However,there is a lack of systematic research on preparation process and performance optimization of automotive glass enamel in China.The existing products mostly exposed a deficiency in chemical durability to acids,alkalis,and the viscous resistance is inadequate.Domestic carmakers are mostly imported from abroad automobile glass enamel because of these problems,greatly increased the production cost,weaken the market competitiveness of domestic cars.In order to change the backward situation,this topic based on the system of Bi2O3-B2O3-SiO2 low melting glass-ceramic,discusses the influence of the whole preparation,printing and sintering process on automotive glass enamel through the adjustment of low melting point glass composition,micro crystallization of glass powder,ink system of multilayer printed and sintering process.And we prepared a new type of crystallizing enamel for automotive glass with excellent performance.The results are as follows.1.The thermal expansion coefficient,softening temperature and chemical stability of Bi2O3-B2O3-SiO2 low melting-point glass changed with different glass composition.When the B2O3,K2O and ZnO contents were 10%,3%and 5%respectively.The thermal expansion coefficient and softening temperature of low melting-point glass were 83.52×10-7?-1 and 525.9?,and its chemical stability was good.The prepared low melting-point glass conforms to the requirements of automotive glass enamel.2.With the increase of heat treatment temperature and heat treatment time,the size and quantity of the crystal grain in Bi2O3-B2O3-SiO2 low melting glass ceramic increased.In addition,the thermal expansion coefficient of the glass increased first,then it declined gradually.3.When the matrix low melting-point glass was heated for 3h under 570?,The thermal expansion coefficient and softening temperature of low melting-point glass were 83.26×10-7?-1 and 529.2?.And the crystallization of low melting point glass was in good condition under this circumstances.It can be used to prepare the crystallizing enamel for automotive glass.4.By analyzing the apparent morphology,blackness,adhesion force,viscous resistance and acid-proof alkaline of automotive glass enamel under different sintering temperature and sintering time.We discussed the influence of sintering process on the performance of glass enamel,and determined the optimal sintering schedule to obtain the crystallizing enamel for automotive glass is sintered under 720?for 4 min.Under this sintering schedule,compared with the imported enamel,the automotive glass enamel showed the excellent performance such as chemical resistance and adhesion.
