According to the esterification of ethyl acetate production,because the amount of water taken out by ethyl acetate is far less than its produced,part of the oil phase reflux to take out the unnecessary water.In the production of n-butyl acetate,we need to make the portion of the water phase reflux to take out the n-butyl acetate.Because the amount of water taken out by n-butyl acetate is far more than production.So the ethyl acetate and n-butyl acetate production can be combined to supplement the oil phase and water.Dividing wall column(DWC)is a new energy-saving tower,which can be used in the coproduction of ethyl acetate and n-butyl acetate.Combined the advantages of coproduction and DWC,it not only achieve the goal of energy saving but also reduce the investment in equipment.According to the process,this paper will study in the following aspects:(1)Firstly,by analyzing the property of organic compound in the process of coproduction of ethyl acetate and n-butyl acetate,six kinds of organic compound in the process can form eight kinds of azeotrope mixture which include six kinds of binary azeotropes and two kinds of ternary azeotrope.(2)Secondly,according to the structure of DWC and the product acidity requirements,the two kinds of respective DWC were studied for the co-production technology of ethyl acetate and n-butyl acetate,which is RDWC-SS and RDWC-FC.Use the software of Aspen Plus to simulate the models and discuss the effects of plate numbers and liquid split ratio on the the product acidity in RDWC-SS and the effects of plate numbers,liquid and gas split ratio and the position of side extraction on the the product acidity in RDWC-FC.During the simulation,choose NRTL-HOC as the thermodynamic method,solid acid as the catalyst.And choose the vapor-liquid-liquid three phase balance and equilibrium stages model in the distillation,which the phase splitter with liquid-liquid equilibrium model and condenser with vapor-liquid-liquid equilibrium model.And the results of simulation model is verified by experiments.(3)Finally,the the simulation results show that per unit product of ethyl acetate,n-butyl acetate in RDWC-SS energy consumption fell 7% and 9.8% respectively than ordinary rectification tower,and per unit product of ethyl acetate,n-butyl acetate in RDWC-FC energy consumption fell 26% and 23%.
