The preparation of protective coating by jet electrodeposition has the advantages of simple process,grain refinement and high deposition efficiency,but it is easy to appear cellular bulges on the surface.The surface quality,uniformity,compactness,adhesion property and corrosion resistance of the coating need further improvement.For this reason,a new method involving discontinuous cathode rotation and interlaced deposition was proposed in this paper,that is,after a preset deposition,the cathode workpiece rotates a certain angle in the plane,and continues the deposition on the other direction,and so forth.Due to the introduction of nanoparticles,composite coating has more excellent performance,therefore,in this paper,the proposed rotating interlaced jet electrodeposition was combined with nanoparticle composite coating.The basic experimental research on rotating interlaced jet electrodeposition and the preparation of nanoparticle composite coating were carried out.The main contents are as follows:?1?On the basis of conventional jet electrodeposition,a new processing method of cathode rotation and interlaced deposition was proposed and its mechanism was analyzed.?2?Rotating interlaced jet electrodeposition equipment was designed and built.The previous jet electrodeposition equipment was modified,the desktop 3D printer FDM was used to design and print parts of the rotation platform;The ARM development board was used to modularized programming to make the machining speed,machining distance,interlacing cycle and temperature controllable and adjustable.?3?The process test of the interlaced nickel coating on sintered Nd Fe B substrate was carried out,and the coatings were characterized and analyzed.The total thicknesses of the interlaced coatings were 20?m,and the numbers of layers were 1,7,15,31,63 and 127 respectively.The effects of interlaced deposition on the surface morphology,microstructure,and adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating were studied.It is found that compared with conventional jet electrodeposition,rotating interlaced deposition can effectively reduce cellular bulges,improve the uniformity and compactness,adhesion,as well as corrosion resistance of coatings.?4?The experiment on the preparation of nanoparticles Ni-CeO2 composite coating by rotating interlaced method was carried out.The surface morphology and microstructure of the coating,the content and distribution state of nanoparticles and corrosion resistance were studied.The influence of particle concentration and interlacing process on composite coating was also analyzed.It is found thatafter adding an appropriate amount of nano-CeO2,the coating is smoother and more uniform,corrosion resistance is greatly improved.With the introduction of interlacing method,the embedded nanoparticles further increase.Moreover,the problem of coating quality deterioration in traditional jet electrodeposition because of nanoparticle aggregation is alleviated to some extent.
