Ion exchange membrane electrolysis technology is the most important method of caustic soda production at present. It is significant to study the distribution of concentration field in ionic membrane electrolyzer.Because it is helpful to improve product purity, prolong the service life of ion film, reduce the trough voltage, and can maintain the stable operation of electrolyzer. In this paper, the effect of current density, the position of the circulating plate, the structure of the separating chamber and the bubble diameter on the indoor concentration field distribution of the anode were investigated by using the variance value of chloride ion concentration. The main conclusions obtained in this paper are as follows:1?For the vertical circulation plate electrolyzer, the larger the current density, the greater the liquid flow in the opening of the circular plate, the greater the distance between the circulating plate and the ionic membrane, the more favorable the uniform distribution of the concentration.2?When the current density is fixed, the variance value of the chloride ion concentration is the smallest when the vertical inclined angle of the circular plate is-3~°,and when the distance between the vertical circular plate and the ionic membrane is 10.5 mm.3?Compared with the anterior opening and the open separation chamber, the minimum chlorine ion concentration variance can be obtained in the separation chamber structure of the tube.4?The effect of bubble diameter on gas holdup distribution, chlorine ion concentration distribution and mass transfer coefficient was significant.
