In order to reverse the long-term non-compliance of the water quality in the Tongshun River?Wuhan section?,and overcome the limitations of current total control system in terms of accounting and distribution.This thesis establishes the TMDL program for Tongshun River?Wuhan section?,explore a way to put contaminants under control in the total maximum daily load?TMDL?,and find a practical management to solve water pollution.A survey was conducted on the status of water quality in Tongshun River?Wuhan section?on the basis of analyzing and evaluating the water quality data.And then,used the Kriging method to study the temporal and spatial variability of water quality.The output method was used to calculate discharge capacity of Tongshun River?Wuhan section?.Under these conditions,referenced to TMDL program,and used the load duration curve?LDC?.To explore the ability of water to absorb pollutants,and allocated the pollutant total amount according to proportion distribution method.Finally put forward the TMDL control measures.Research indicates:?1?From the perspective of water quality,COD,NH3-N and TP have obvious variation characteristics in spatial distribution in diffident water phase of Tongshun River?Wuhan section?.The best water quality appear in wet period,flat water period followed and dry season is the worst.But the water quality are exceeded and the monitoring data fluctuates along the way.in every period.?2?From the perspective of amount of pollution sources,the import volume of COD,NH3-N and TP in Tongshun River?Wuhan section?is 2535.89t/a,247.46t/a and163.33t/a.and the non-piont source is the most important pollution source.From the perspective of spatial distribution of pollution:The import volume of COD,NH3-N and TP are expressed as Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone?Hannan District?higher than Caidian District slightly.?3?Nutritional elements pollution?NH3-N and TP?is worse than organic matter?COD?in Tongshun River?the Wuhan section?from the comparison of the TMDL of COD,NH3-N and TP,and TP is especially.?4?The TMDL of Tongshun River?Wuhan section?change obviously with all year round,and the daily mean flow was negatively skewed.The largest capacity is the summer but with violent fluctuating,spring and autumn is roughly equal,winter is the worst.So making targeted TMDL is meaningful.?5?The TMDL should proceed from three aspects based on the research results of Tongshun River?Wuhan section?and the concept of environmental management in our country at present.Firstly,economic way:the use of environmental protection tax supplemented by subsidies.Secondly,technical measures:the implementation of technology in point and non-point source.Thirdly,management tools:to implement the sewage permit system and environmental pollution control in cross-border.
