In the process of oilfield development,emulsion will not only cause great harm in the storage,transportation and processing of products,but also shorten the service life of various equipments.Therefore,demulsification is an important process before transported.At present,most of the oil fields adopt chemical demulsification method,the effect of demulsification is excellent when temperature between 55~60 ?.In recent years,in order to save costs,Longdong area reduce the demulsification temperature to 26~30 ?,while shortening the time of demulsification,which increase the difficulty of demulsification,the original demulsifiers are unavailable,so it is necessary to screen the demulsifiers with high efficiency in low temperature.Based on the research of the emulsification characteristics of the 4 stations in Longdong area,the key factors affecting the stability of emulsion were determined.Furthermore,the demulsifiers of low temperature were screened by emulsion stability evaluation method.In addition,a new method for rapid screening and evaluation low temperature demulsifiers was developed for the aged-oil emulsion with long demulsification time.In addition,starting from the micro migration law of emulsion,we describe the demulsification process.Investigated the demulsification mechanism of optimized demulsifier at low temperature from the interface properties,which reveals the relationship between interfacial properties and demulsification effect,provide theoretical guidance for field application.
