Noble metal nano-catalyst plays an important role in chemical production due to its excellent catalytic properties.How to make full use of noble metal,and found the new type catalyst is a hot spot in the field of noble metals research.Bimetallic nano-catalyst with adjustable composition,controllable morphology,and variable electronic structure aroused people's wide attention in recent years.This paper summarizes the research progress of the field.Based on the researches,the preparation and catalytic properties of two kinds of bimetallic nano-catalysts were studied;and the main results were as follows:A series of RhCu bimetallic nanoparticles with different proportion,which is uniform and monodisperse,were prepared by the method of octadecylamine system.The structures of RhCu bimetallic nanoparticles were characterized by XRD,TEM,HRTEM and EDX-mapping.The activated carbon supported nano-bimetallic catalysts were prepared by loading the nanoparticles on the carrier activated carbon.The effect of the proportion of metal on the catalytic properties of hydrogenation of quinolone was evaluated.The results show that Rh3Cu1/C is the best catalyst for catalytic hydrogenation of quinoline selectively producing1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline.When the reaction was run at room temperature and 1 bar hydrogen for 12 h,the conversion of quinoline and the selectivity of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline are 99.1%and 98.3%,respectively.The palladium-gold bimetallic nanoparticles were deposited on Zn-Al layered double hydroxide and the graphene oxide?GO?doped Zn-Al layered double hydroxide through the ion exchange-reduction method.The as-prepared palladium-gold bimetallic catalysts were characterized by XRD,TEM.The results showed that the bimetallic nanoparticles loaded on GO doped Zn-Al LDHs are smaller size?2 nm?and more uniform.The catalytic properties were evaluated in oxidation reaction of benzyl alcohol by air for preparation benzaldehyde.Furthermore,the effects of carriers and different metal proportions on the catalytic properties were also discussed.With the increase of proportion of palladium,the performance of the catalysts first rose and then decreased.When bimetallic proportion was1:1,the catalyst of Pd1Au1/Zn-Al LDHs/GO shown excellent catalytic behavior.When the reaction run in the air at 80°C for 8 hours,the conversion of benzyl alcohol and selectivity of benzaldehyde were 96%and 93%,respectively.After the fourth cycle,the Pd1Au1/Zn-Al LDHs/GO still maintains excellent catalytic performance.
