The dissertation deals with the production requirement of Trioxane in Xingtai industrial park of Xuyang Coal Chemical Group.The production process of using acid liquid as catalyst is analyzed and optimized in order to improve Trioxane quality.The main research contents and contributions are summarized as follows:Trioxane quality in the production process of using concentrated sulfuric acid catalyst is compared with using ionic liquid catalyst.The contents of Formaldehyde,Methanol and methyl formate are nearly the same in the product,but Calcium Carbonate.The content of Calcium Carbonate improves faster in the former.It shows that the lifetime of catalyst prolongs with the content decrease of the Calcium Carbonate in the production process.Meanwhile the Trioxane quality improves.Methanol deacidification method is used in industrial production to decrease the content of Calcium Carbonate which has the disadvantages of large amount of Methanol needed,low utilization,bad economic,and long time for acid removal.This paper put forward and experiment an effective method using 1:10 carbonate suspension liquid which works on-line and has good economic.Pilod production in lab shows that carbonate suspension liquid method removes Calcium Carbonate effectively,the lifetime of catalyst prolongs significantly.The Trioxane quality improves and the waste water can be recovered and utilized.
