Inorganic ceramic membrane as a new type of membrane material is widely used in recent years in the fields of food,environment,energy,medicine,chemical industry,because of its advantages of high temperature resistabce,chemical resistance,stable structure,easy cleaning and long service life.So inorganic ceramic membrane play a very a imprtant role in industry and science.But in the actual production applicatin faces two problems:The first is the high cost of inorganic ceramic membrane tube,especially the cost of preparation of inorganic ceramic membrane support,the second is the commercial use of inorganic ceramic membrane tube and preparation ofspecifications of single material.The porous support for ceramic membrans were prepared using Al2O3 and SiO2 with different mass ratio,add pore forming material,certain mass fraction sintering aids and methylcellulose as binder as raw material by pressing,shaping and baking,stale blank treatment,then ceramic membrane Sintering to a certain temperature,which has pore structure,porosity and mechanical strength.The influence of the flux type,type and amount of pore forming agent on the performance of support for ceramic membranes were investigated.Research shows that:TiO2 is most suitable with MgO together as flux,the Porosity withdifferent pore-forming agent is SDBS>Charcoal powder>Solubl starch>CaCO3,the breaking strength is:SDBS>CaCO3>Soluble starch>Charcoal powder.Comprehensive utility and cost,the best pore forming agent was charcoal powder and the content is 15%.The effects of raw material properties,sintering system,and additives on the properties of the support for ceramic membraneswere disscussed in this experiment.The influence of the quality of silica and alumina silica ratio,the silica particle size and sintering system on the performance of support for ceramic membranes were investigated.The prepared porous supports sintered at1200?and silicon aluminum quality were 1:1 has good structure and performance.The sample possesses a linearshrinkage rate of 3.61%,a porosity of 47.62%,and compression strength23.14MPa.Silica and alumina in a certain temperature can form mullite which is a kind of fine material to make Support for Ceramic Membranes.Therefore get the best of alumina and silica mass ratio range is important.And research and development thesupport for ceramic membranes with appropriat pore structure and strength to meet the separation of solid composite needs support of high temperature gas.And also has the very vital significance to use those natural minerals and gangue which are rich in silica and alumina.
