This dissertation consisted of two parts.The first part was focused on synthesis of pyrido[2,3-c]coumarin derivatives via one-pot three-component reaction.The second part was focused on synthesis of3,5-hydroxybenzyl alcohol.In part one,firstly,the research progress of the synthesis pyrido[2,3-c]coumarin derivatives were briefly reviewed.Then,3-amino-coumarin,aromatic aldehydes,ketones were employed as raw materials to prepare a series of novel pyrido[2.3-c]coumarin derivatives via the one-pot multi-component reaction.The method can be realized in good yields via an asynchronous[4+2]inverse electron Diels Alder reaction.The simple starting materials,simple operation and high yield constitute a significant advancement.The second part was focused on synthesis of 3,5-hydroxybenzyl alcohol.3,5-hydroxybenzyl alcohol as an important pharmaceutical intermediates and chemical intermediates,not only for the synthesis of the drugs such as Armillarisin,Resveratrol,Brodimoprim,Boni Connie,also can be used to synthesize 3,5-Dihydroxybenzaldehyde,3,5-Dihydroxyacetophenone and other pharmaceutical intermediates.In addition,3,5-hydroxybenzyl alcohol can also be used to synthesize polymer material and also have a wide range of applications in daily chemical industry and other fields.So the synthesis process of3,5-hydroxybenzyl alcohol is very important.Firstly,3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid or 3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester were employed as raw materials,sodium borohydride as a reduction agent to screened the feasibility of various redox system.Then3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid was employed as raw material,by esterification,NaBH4/AlCl3 reducing to give 3,5-hydroxy benzyl alcohol.During the experiment,we focused on the factors that coud influence the reaction such as the solvent,the mole ratio,reaction temperature and addition sequence of reactions.The process is simple,cheap with easily available raw materials and could obtain the 3,5-hydroxy benzyl alcohol with total yield of 81.3%.
