Fullerenes-based nano-probes,the hybrid nanomaterials of fullerenes and the various markers and detected moleculars,have attracted considerable attention mainly because of their unique structures and novel properties.Conjugation of water-soluble fullerenes derivatives to produce water-soluble nano-probes is vital in developing new fullerenes-based functionalizational nanomaterials with potential biomedical applications in the field of nano-biomarkers and detection technology.The target of this paper is to develop new type of fullerenes water-soluble derivatives,construct the functionalizational fluorescence nano-probe based on fullerenes water-soluble derivatives coupling fluorescent dyes and triazine herbicide atrazine,explore its application in pesticide residues testing field.The primary of the work presented in this paper include development of a new type of fullerenes water-soluble derivatives,preparation of the functionalization of fullerene-based nano fluorescence probe,analysis of the properties of aggregation and disaggregation and of relationship of aggregation and fluorescence for the fullerenes-based fluorescence nano-probes.(1)The new type of water-soluble fullerene imino derivatives C60(NCH2CH2NH2)x was prepared through the mutli-addition of N3CH2CH2NH2 to C60 by improved one-step nitrene chemistry.The structure of the derivative was characterized by X-ray photoelectron.spectroscopy and the number of the functional groups linking on the fullerene cage was confirmed 12.(2)Two type of water-soluble conjugates of fullerene-atrazine,fullerene-atrazine-dye were synthetized by C60(NCH2CH2NH2)12 linked with atrazine,fluorescent dyes in turn.The conjugations of fullerene-atrazine-dye was treated with NaOH to yield the water soluble functional fullerene-based fluorescence nano-probe.They could be separated and purified by using the method of dialysis combined with Sephadex column chromatography.(3)The diameter size and distribution of the nano particles of water-soluble fullerene imino derivatives and conjugations of water-soluble fullerenes derivatives in solid and solution systems were characterized respectively by the scanning electron microscopy and dynamic scattering.(4)The fluorescence properties of the fullerene-based fluorescence nano-probes were analyzed by using fluorescence spectrum.The association of the properties of aggregation and the intensity of fluorescence for the fluorescence nano-probes was inverstigated.
