It has been more than fifty years for Daqing Oilfield in development and construction since 1960.And the oilfield has entered development period of very high water content.Xingbei development zone of Daqing oilfield is our study area,and it has been influenced by the factors such as structure,fault,the degree of well control and the heterogeneous of reservoir.Although the remaining oil underground is scattered overall,part of it especially those remaining oil near the fault is relatively abundant.The fault has play an important role in the distribution of remaining oil and water-flooding in Xingbei development zone.In this paper we have achieve a comprehensive understanding of characteristics of structural evolution and sedimentary background in Xingbei development zone.Through the observation of outcrops,core description and researches of predecessors we conduct a study of internal structure of fault zone.Through the detailed core description of coring across the 275 fault plane of 7-20 inclined 632 well in Xingbei development zone and 22 through fault wells in the study area and logging curve of its nearby no drill in fault we have made identification of the thickness of the fault zone.And stated the developmental characteristics of the fault zone in the study area and its effect on the control of the remaining oil and evaluated the size of the fault zone in the study area.We have evaluated the sealing ability and stability of typical faults and fault traps in the studied area.We have showed the risking location of the fault in the study area and calculated the critical distance of fault with injection wells for safe exploiting.We have conducted the systematic analysis of the influence of fault on the remaining oil distribution.In combination with the sedimentary microfacies in the study area.In the end,incorporation with controlling effects of fault on remaining oil distribution and waterflooding in Xingbei development zone and give a set of more perfect water injection development of injection-production pattern of remaining oil in the edge of fault in the study area.
