Due to technical and economic reasons,in a very 2long period of time,China has been using relatively backward mining methods and technology,knives column,Lane column(high drop-style),residual column,recovery rate,in the old mining empty area left behind a lot of coal resources.With the development of the theory of mining and mining technology,these old coal mining residues that resources are not effectively use the "residual coal "development re-use as possible.Taiyuan University of Technology borne by the national "Twelfth Five-Year" plan to support " large-scale coal mining resource base is difficult to exploit high recovery key technology integration demonstration " project(2012BAB13B04)proposed longwall mining technology solutions residual coal.In this paper,Shanxi Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group Tian'an Shenghua Coal the 3#old coal mining recovery of residual coal resources for the study of the background again,using theoretical analysis,theoretical calculations,numerical simulation,and similar material simulation method of combining,for longwall mining residues roof stability of coal over the Fall Area determining the stress characteristics roof fall migration zone and rock breaking the law,coal pillar stability,mechanical model stope,face off Fall Area surrounding rock control technology and safety measures on issues such as research.The main contents are as follows:1.Using the combination of field research and theoretical analysis method,the residual coal mining resources and possible re-occurrence Fall Area residual coal district of roof rock structure were reviewed for small kiln roof stability determination of roof fall edge of coal pillar stability analysis,and ultimately concludes type of roof area,calculated under different conditions limit the empty lane span the width of two situations get critical pillar.2.Using similar material simulation means,using fully mechanized coal caving technology residual mining face is too complex stope roof fall area were simulated to actual geological mining conditions,based on a large proportion of 1:30 and the analog composite coal seams overburden,rock displacement measured separately,support working resistance measurement,rock stress measurement,discusses the failure law of roof area and the rock face and the interaction between the stent through the roof fall area.3.Using FLAC 3D numerical simulation software for residual coal mining face is too complex simulation studies when stope roof fall zone,get stope surrounding rock stress distribution and plastic damage law.4.Using theoretical analysis method to create complex when rock stope mining face over Fall Area characteristics and mechanical damage model,the stand-rock relationships,draw residual coal mining face complex work over a reasonable bracket of roof area resistance calculation formula proposed complex residual coal mining face over roof fall zone control mechanism and control technology.
