In order to make the super hydrophobic coating material can be used in more fields,scientists have a lot of research on the surface of the skin of animals and plants.According to its unique structure and function,they realized the organic combination of structure and function and make the super hydrophobic coating having the clean and not wet.Super hydrophobic coating has a great practical value in real life.This paper was synthesized hyperbranched polyester?HBP?based on trimethylol propane and dimethylol butanoic acid.Then end-modified with maleic anhydride to synthesize the unsaturated hydroxyl-terminated hyperbranched polyester?UEHBP?.The properties of products were characterized by FT-IR to characterize its structure,acid titration to track the reaction process,hydroxyl value titration further validate the extent of reactio,the water-solublity of polymer was measured through spectrophotometer and the viscosity of polymer was measured through rotating viscometer.Using two systems to synthesis super hydrophobic coating material:one used the method of thermal curing,fluorine carbon resin as basic material,silicon dioxide as filler,and added hyperbranched polyester,to prepare super hydrophobic coating material;another was the thermal-uv dual curing,added silicon dioxide to the mixed materials of light curing,in this method silicon dioxide was grafted and modified by vinyl triethoxy silane?VTES?,then added the fluorine carbon resin and hyperbranched polyester,to prepare super hydrophobic coating material.The property of the super-hydrophobic coating was analyzed and characterized by fourier transform infrared analysis?FT-IR?,contact angle measurement instrument,scanning electron microscopy?SEM?and thermal gravimetric analysis?TGA?.The results show that the unsaturated hydroxyl-terminated hyperbranched polyester were successful synthesized and added its success to the fluorocarbon resin in super-hydrophobic coating material.When selecte the method of thermal curing,the pigment/binder ratio was 1:2,the UEHBP contents are 4%and the SiO2 contents are 7.8%,the contact angle and roll angle of the super-hydrophobic coating are 153.8°and 8.9°,correspondingly.The surface tension is 250.68 mN·m-1.While when selecte the method of thermal-uv dual curing in this system,the UEHBP contents are 4%and the SiO2 contents are7.4%,the contact angle and roll angle of the super-hydrophobic coating are161.5°and7.4°,correspondingly.The surface tension is 78.99 mN·m-1.The surface of the super hydrophobic coating material got by two systems had large number of pores,bumps,nanoparticles and micro/nano structure.And they also have good thermal stability and mechanical properties.
