Volatile organic compounds?VOCs?have been recognized by the world as a major pollutant because of their potential toxicity.At the same time,it is also the formation of PM 2.5,the main component of photochemical smog,serious damage to the ozone layer.Therefore,people need to find effective ways to eliminate these pollutants.Among the many technologies,catalytic oxidation is considered to be the most effective way to eliminate VOCs.Compared to traditional thermodynamic combustion,catalytic oxidation has the advantage of low catalytic temperature and environmental friendly.In the catalytic oxidation technology,the load-type catalyst is divided into two categories:load transition metal oxide catalyst and load nobel metal catalyst.The cost of the catalyst is low for the load transition metal oxide catalyst,but the nature of the transition metal itself results in a high light-off temperature during the catalytic oxidation process,which also need the heating equipment to maintain and increase the cost of the equipment.These problems need to be considered in the process of industrialization.As for the load noble metal catalyst,it can complete oxidation of VOCs at the lower temperature,which is a great improvement.The supported Pt catalyst has the characteristics of low light-off temperature,high catalytic activity and good stability,In the catalytic oxidation technology is particularly in-depth study.However,taking into account the expensive price of nobel metals,in the catalyst preparation process,the cost has increased a lot,which is restricting its main application in industrial applications.Therefore,how to prepare a high activity and low cost catalyst for catalytic oxidation reaction,has become a problem in front of researchers around the world.In this paper,a series of catalysts with extremely low content of Pt/?-Al2O3?0.01%,0.02%and 0.03%?were prepared by the method of direct adsorption of nanoparticles.The prepared 0.02%Pt/?-Al2O3 catalysts were tested by XRD,XPS,H2-TPR,BET and TEM.The intrinsic rules of the physical structure of the catalyst prepared by the adsorption of nanoparticles obtained under different preparation conditions and the complete oxidation performance of VOCs were investigated.
